PEACEMAKERS Prayer Patrols Birthday Tribute and Prayer for the murdered British MP JO Cox

Bunches of yellow orchids in a large ornate vase, a set of three church candles, and a minute silence, as the candles were lit, by Reverend Palmer in memory of MP Jo Cox.

The Rev is who is currently in New York for Saturday’s Prayer Patrols, said that she wished that she was able to attend the Memorial event in London Trafalgar Square today and that it was unfortunate that she also could not to attend the other gatherings being held throughout the US.  WP_20160124_12_59_40_ProHowever, in true Peacemakers fashion,  prayer and thanksgiving were made in memory of Jo Cox,  who would have been 42 years old today.

The Tribute

Related image“Birthday remembrance for MP Jo Cox. I light these three candles, each one symbolic of the three spheres of this precious life. The first is for her personal essence which  she called ‘my Self’.  The second, for her role as a Mother – an extension and produce of that self.  And the third, for her ministry, which includes her role as a wife, a daughter, a friend etc. as well as her work and service which she undertook for the good of mankind and in the hope of a better world”

The Prayer

And so as Jo rests in the arms of God, to whom we commend her soul, knowing that she did not live nor hope in vain, we too with hope, as Peacemakers, grieve alongside those that are grieving.  praying hands and candle   We especially wish to remember and pray for her husband, and their children, parents, family and friends, and the global community as they gather in remembrance and celebration of her life.  May Love, Hope and Peace strengthen, and preserve them all at this time, that when the lights of the candles are dim and no more, may the love and hope shared today live on forever.”

“Let justice be done. May the causes for which Jo Cox lived and worked never be forgotten, nor taken lightly, but may the baton be taken up by another with the same vigour, until justice is done, and the equality of the whole human race.” – Rev Palmer

“I give thanks for Life. The human body dies, but the greater reality than this is, ‘LIFE NEVER DIES’. I love this truth. I pray that the truth of this reality will keep our own heart, mind and soul in hope. And in so doing that Life will grant to us in remembering our loved ones which have gone on before us, as not having lived in vain but as even living now, in our thoughts, and by our actions, may see the fruit of those things for which they both lived and died.

I speak Peace now, I let it be, and so it is. Amen”

Peacemakers Prayer Patrols in Atlantic City

According to Wikipedia, Atlantic City is a resort  city in Atlantic County, New Jersey known for its casinos, boardwalk and beach. In 2010, it had a population of 39,558

Atlantic City was the inspiration for the original version of the board game Monopoly, especially the street names. Established in the 1800s as a health resort, today the city is dotted with glitzy high-rise hotels and nightclubs. In addition to gambling at slot machines and table games, the casinos offer spa treatments, performances by famous comedy and music acts, and high-end shopping.Undistracted by the glitz and gambling, in the early hours of the morning, Peacemakers,  Prayer Patrol a street of a neighbourhood, in a less glamorous area of the city, not far from the glamorous prestigious Caesars, and Tropicana Resort Hotels. WP_20160616_08_46_54_Pro WP_20160616_08_43_22_Pro                                      WP_20160616_08_48_14_Pro

Here we met a young woman,  she is a prostitute. She  seemed distracted as she spoke with us, her eyes busily scanning each car that passed by.  We told her what we doing out on the streets and she said ” we all need prayer around here”, most of her front teeth was missing or rotting.  There was a sense of hopelessness in her her voice. Reverend Palmer prayed for her and gave her words of hope.

Just a couple feet away at the next corner and across the road from a strip club, stood ‘Johnny'(not his real name), a strong looking young man. He is dealing drugs, and it is not yet 9 am. He listened intently as the Rev shared a few inspiring words with him. He seemed touched by their conversation and accepted prayer. As they shook hands in parting, his demeanour softened, moist-eyed, he appeared genuinely transformed and thanked her, in a quiet soft voice.

“There was also a small window of opportunity to meet and speak with, and to pray for, a few more people before the sudden outburst of heavy rain, which interrupted and cut short the Patrol.  The Rain fell continually over the following 2 days, and all we could do then was to pray from the view of our Hotel window.”  >See video clip below.

PEACEMAKERS TRIBUTE PRAYER IN THE WAKE OF THE HORRIFIC KILLING OF MP JO COX and PLEA FOR MORE PRAYER PATROLS TO ‘MAN’ STREETS

Hilary Benn, MP for Leeds Central, Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow, PM David Cameron, Commons chaplain Reverend Rose Hudson-Wilkin and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn arrive in Birstall this afternoon

PEACEMAKERS Leader Reverend Palmer joins with other Leaders and thousands of people in England, to pay respect and tribute to Labour MP Jo Cox. “In the shocking wake of the hideous killing of Jo Cox, our condolences and prayers for comfort, goes out to her husband Brendan Cox, and the couple’s two children, their family, friends, co-workers, members of her constituency, and the peoples of West Yorkshire as they mourn the death of a beloved wife, mother, daughter, friend and MP.  Hers is a precious soul, a valuable member of the human race, who contributed so beautifully for its betterment. Today our prayer is also for 77-year-old Mr Bernard Kenny, the stabbed victim, who almost gave his life to save Jo. WE pray for his  health and a speedy recovery .”

The usually quiet Yorkshire town has become the centre of the country's attention as people gather to leave floral tributes in Market Square

“WE are living in an age and season where the availability and access to guns are easily available; where there is a lack of respect for life, and where if ever a time we need an acceleration for prayer, it is NOW.” BBC UK News report HERE

Thousands of people stood solemnly in silence in Parliament Sqaure in London, to remember the MP“Peacemakers are relentless praying  the change we wish to see for our world.  LOVE, HOPE and PEACE is our charge for this year, and we are resolved to see this through. I grieve with those who mourn the death of our loved ones, but will not give in to these barbaric acts of violence and the killing of innocent people. We will press on in ardent prayer, in spite of this. We are also praying for the perpetrator, it is obvious that he needs help. So we pray that he will now get this help even though it will come too late to save Mrs Cox.”

“I urge communities to ‘man’ our streets with Prayer Patrols and use this sombre occasion to send out this appeal for Justice and safer streets, everywhere.

Prayer Patrols often meet and pray with people, some ‘on the edge’, and if there are obvious signs of serious mental issues, we try as best as we can to encourage them to seek further professional help. But by being available to listen to the cares, frustrations, and concerns of people on the streets have helped combat a whole lot of crimes over the years.

I remember a few years ago, a small band of us going out in Bristol, street crime was on the increase then.  We met a man who had just been released from prison 4 months previously,  he was armed to commit a violent crime on another man that he said had ‘p…ed him off’ earlier that day.  I watched as a few of the older women in the group prayed with him, they pleaded with him, and basically loved him through his anger until it subsided, and he had a change of heart. This was just one case, but I dread to think what might have happened had we not been out there. Who knows perhaps a wife, a mother and her children would be in mourning as we are today? ”

light-up-the-darkness

“…….and so, may our Prayers ‘light up the darkness’,  bringing comfort to those mourning the loss of loved ones, healing to broken lives, and helping to kerb the destitute minds of the perverted, by sowing seeds these tiny seeds of hope and peace to lighten our world.”

Reverend Palmer, declaring         “The Spirit IN Detroit                 IS the Spirit OF God”         4th June 2016 AD/CE

The Diminutive figure of Bristol’s Peacemakers founder and Prayer Mogul, Dawnecia Palmer aka Apostle Palmer, was joined by Michigan dwellers for her first ‘real’ Prayer Patrol in the Downtown area of Detroit on Saturday afternoon, 4th June 2016.

“I have had several mini sessions since 2011, when I arrived in Michigan and first introduced the Initiative, until 2013.  It was very  to get a team together during this period because there were such divisions, dissensions, and resistance to the Vision. This kept them from really listening to hear or to see clearly what the Vision really looked like.   There were several counterfeit attempts, over this time, until, in I finally gave up trying in and returned to the UK.  However, like the Prophet Jonah, I was reinstructed by the Spirit, at the end of 2015, to ‘go back to Michigan with the same Vision.’  So, without consulting flesh and blood, I determined in my heart to carry out the Mission as I was at first so Commissioned to do. And this I did.                THE COMMISSION according to 2nd Corinthians 3:15-18; 4:1          A few days before the actual event took place,  I connected with Apostle Hodge of the Good News Station TV and Good Tree Ministries.

WP_20160604_15_19_27_ProHe was delighted to hear about the upcoming patrols.  And although he was not able to join us on the day, he was in full support of the Vision, and thankfully he faithfully sounded the alarm out to several Outreach Ministries, and Prayer groups. within Detriot and other surrounding areas”

The Rev’s Prayer

“There has been a ton load of petition, supplication and all sort of prayerful activities with certain amount of evangelism going on within this area over the years, along with many of these well meaning, goodwill ventures, and entwined within their programmes, has been the subtle hint of the ego, and a mega-fest of infighting for ownership of the presumed results.  This way of doing things is so putrid to the taste bud of a Holy God, and the way of Grace, that there remaineth the seeds of greed, conspiracy, corruption and a false sense of self-righteousness. No-one has the monopoly on God. No. Not a man, not a woman. Not a class nor creed. Not the Church and certainly not the state. We cannot outwit His righteous decrees. We cannot manipulate His hand to work within our set programmes nor our manmade schemes, for the sake of our lust and the intent of some grand position. No.  His Way Is perfect. His Way is Just and Right. It hath been declared ‘not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit’…and Spirit doth not need help. It is only as we are willing to align and attune with The Spirit of Life in God that true transformation happens.  By true transformation, meaning, where no one person, (that includes me) can be attributed the glory.  I think that for too long the spirit of Detroit has been glorified.city Hall atlas                               And it is about time that the Spirit of God is the true Spirit IN Detroit. I say Let it be so dear Lord. Amen.”

Peacemakers Patrols praying Peace on the Streets of Bristol once again…

On her day off from Nursery, she happily accompanies her Mum on the latest round of foot Patrols, in the Barton Hill area of Bristol. Patrolling through the section  of a housing estate, with predominantly Muslim Somalian families, the Prayer Patrols found a warm welcome and positive responses.

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD: Prayer Patrols Blessing the Community with Peace.

One young lady that  we spoke to said, ” ..What a lovely idea!”

Just over a year ago this area was at the height of Police investigations and continual focus from the Media. There was a lot of fear and concerns by residents, when body parts  of Becky Watts, a young 16-year-old girl were found in a terraced house, on the residential estate.  After many weeks of investigations, her  killers were caught and sentenced.  See HERE for full Story – BBC News

Today, we were joined by a woman who also lives in the area, she told us, how glad she was that we had come to pray in her neighbourhood. She said she there was still a ‘dark eerie feeling’ in the environment. However, at the end of our Patrol, she said she believes that the presence and prayers of the Patrols will help to transform the area, and uplift the mood around the lane .

“Releasing Peace on the scene where innocent blood was shed, is part of what we do,” says the Peacemakers Chief.   “This clears the area, recreating a more harmonious environment, and a sense of security and peace within those communities”

“I believe  that through ongoing collective prayers we are createing a supermagnifabilocious fortified field of goodness, and a magnificent presence on our planet. We must hold and maintain the vision that love, hope and peace is the climatory environment throughout the earth.

It’s a challenge to stay clear of the racus of bad news which often premeate the media.  And this we shall do, if we but set our intentions to right, seeing our atonement with Life, and insisting that we always hold a high frequency of gratitude.

It is high time to shake off the superstitions and suspicions, delete the outdated preset judgements, that only tends to immoral thinking and fake righteousness, and instead let’s think God, and get on with the imminent businesss of an awesome vision, the global mission of prayer patroling our beloved world.”

Easter Prayer Patrol Feedback

The three days Peacemakers Easter Prayer Patrols in Bristol was a blast! We wish to thank our ‘Prayer Shields’ for covering us in prayer as we patrolled the streets, especially for the late night Patrol in the heart of Bristol’s nightlife area.  I am pleased to announce that all went well! There were no adverse situations.  In fact it was all pleasantness and openness. We truly felt protected and had great favor with the city. We had many supermagnifabulocious opportunities to witness, and touch base with the local community. It was really great to pray with all the folks that we came in contact with over this Easter Prayer Patrol Triathon.

Maundy Thursday – The start of the Easter Prayer Patrol Triathon Feedback
WP_20160324_17_02_55_ProMinister Shuanna-lee Samuel paying tribute to the memory of Colin Winston, the taxi driver who was brutally robbed and murdered at this very spot, eight years ago. This was also the starting point for the 1st Easton Prayer Patrols.

We began the first Patrol at  old Pub on Fox Road. We said prayers for Colin Winston’s family, and prayed for the safety of taxi drivers and their families every where. Although it was raining heavily, we continued to patrol the areas close by, and it was not long before the rain ceased and we were able to stop and speak with, and pray with folks.  WP_20160324_17_02_30_ProOne person we spoke with asked if  we would pray for her to have more patience…even though it sounded like a tall order, we knew that with God all things are possible. We were glad that we could be there for her.  I later thought about her request and even though we had had quite a few other requests up to this point, her honesty grabbed my attention and holds it still.  Here we were along the main Stapleton Road High Street, with its many shops and businesses, yet not one of these could supply the solution for this young lady’s need. Hers’ was not a commodity to bottled, tinned or packaged. It was not to be found on a shelf nor on the rails in any of these stores. What she needed was to be connected to the Source of Patience, and we were there as a reminder and advocate, to infuse her with comfort and a knowingness, empathy, understanding.  And to note that her request is valid.  I began to think about how many young mothers like her that had become hooked on drugs as a way out or those that had found themselves taking their frustrations out on their kids or the others that had thrown in the towel when things seemed unbearable, and had completely missed their God given destiny.  But thankfully, in this case we were able to administer some encouraging words, prayers and advice.  Rev also briefly introduced her to TBP ( a deep breathing technique with affirmations) and there was such a relief on the young woman’s face as walked away with her children.  A few minutes later as I pondered about the honesty of the request, her willingness to listen and receive, and the change that I had seen upon her face, I knew that if this was all that happened over the Easter Prayer Patrols Triathon, it would have sufficed, because here we saw hope; a hope that made our hearts to rejoice. Amen.

Good Friday – Easter Prayer Patrol Feedback

It felt good to be patrolling the streets of St Paul’s and Stokes Croft again.  There were many changes, new businesses and enterprise in the area, although we did meet several familiar faces.  It seemed a lot calmer and felt much safer as we walked along.   Someone we spoke with commented that they felt sure that the the area had became a lot safer over the years due to our presence.  For this we are truly grateful as there was definitely a sense of peace. Then an amazing thing happened for us, as we patrolled along the top of Ashley Road, a woman which we had not met before, came out of her house and wanted to know what we were doing, we explained about the Peacemakers Prayer Patrols, and afterwards said that she wanted to bless us, so she went back into her house and came back out with freshly baked hot cross buns, delicious homemade marmalade and napkins.
