October/November Patrols 2025

We are very grateful for each opportunity to serve, so it was PEACEMAKERS great honor to be awarded SME’s Most Trusted Community Peace Initiative 2025 as well  Winner of the Southern Western Enterprise Awards for our work.

Along with our regular street patrols work PEACEMAKERS got involved in a few new initiatives throughout the city. There was a call for prayer vigil and aid in respect of victims of the horrific hurricane in Jamaica. They was also and nationwide invitation call to prayer vigil to address the atrocious knife stabbings taking place throughout various parts UK, in particular, the unprovoked stabbing of a 75 year old man by 3 school girls all under the age of 17 years of age, whilst they filmed the senseless act. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3w5y5xyv53o

However, on a brighter note it was humbling and privilege to be invited to be present in support of the event organised by The Curiosity Unltd, Julian Davis, in Celebration of the 60th year Anniversary of the Race Relations Act 1965.

PEACEMAKERS Prayer and City Safety patrol is branching out into new territories, with a pilot set to start training and delivery in the Burton Joyce area, Nottinghamshire,. Training is already on the way under the direct supervision of its Leader, the Reverend Dr Joan Richards, Bishop of Elohim Development Academy.  And it is our sincere wish and blessing for their success.

We were saddened to hear of yet another stabbing taking place in St Pauls, Bristol,  last week, we continue to patrol and pray for that area.  We are however, relieved for the Kinuthia family that the person responsible for the tragic stabbing of their beloved  son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, Eddie King Kinuthia was finally brought to justice this week. We continue to support the family in prayer and  well wishes.  RIP  https://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/news/2025/11/man-jailed-for-life-for-murder-and-attempted-murder/

Finally and importantly we are proud to announce that new legal Safeguarding Policy and HM Government  Safeguarding Registration (DSL) is in place; and all our patrols teams are in the process of completing the new updated PPP Safeguarding Course/  HMG Prevent Awareness Certificate.

A closing prayer for peace: “May The Spirit of PEACE reign in our hearts and minds. Informing all that we do, think, say, and feel. May PEACE enrich our homes, families, communities, streets, and policies; so that our lives will be safe from danger and harm. Amen.
